Silent, fast, spectacular
Your MoonBike adventure
Snow swirls as you carve your way forward – in the MoonBikes Area on Ischgl’s football pitch, you’ll enjoy the thrill of winter without the noise.
In Ischgl, winter will soon blanket the landscape in gleaming white. Step away from the busy ski slopes and discover a quieter thrill: on the village football pitch, a groomed track invites you to try riding a MoonBike – an experience that feels like motorbiking but without the fumes or racket, just pure snow and space to explore. The crisp Alpine air and the crunch of snow beneath you make every ride unforgettable.
MoonBikes use a rear track and front ski to glide through snow at speeds of up to 42 km/h. You control them intuitively, and the electric motor keeps the ride smooth, quiet, and eco-friendly. Fun comes built in.
You’ll find the MoonBikes Area on the Ischgl football pitch in the centre of Ischgl. Open daily from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., it’s ideal for a quick spin between skiing and dinner. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, guided tours between 12:30 and 3:00 p.m. allow you to explore off-track routes, learn the best lines, and pick up tips for smooth acceleration, controlled drifting, and precise braking from an experienced guide. Prefer to start on the course to get a feel for the bike first? Book a short time slot and try the course before heading further afield.
Safety and the right equipment are important when riding a MoonBike! Winter clothing and a ski helmet are required, and riders must be at least 140cm tall.
Its compact design makes a MoonBike easy to master – you’ll find your rhythm within metres, and each turn will boost your confidence. The quiet electric motor protects the peace of the mountains and the wildlife, so you can enjoy the ride without disturbing nature. Let the adventure begin!
Ready to give it a go? Book your slot online or call ahead for more information. Go solo or join a guided tour – you’ll have a brilliant time either way. And after your MoonBike ride, head back to the Hotel Seespitz to warm up in the Finnish sauna before indulging in a five-course gourmet dinner.
