A world of magic and inspiration
The Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens
Get ready to breach new horizons of fantasy and magic – at the Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens, just an hour’s drive from the Hotel Seespitz.
Beyond the slopes of the Silvretta Arena, art and nature come together in moving ways – within a dazzling world designed to amaze and inspire.
The Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens are a one-of-a-kind masterpiece unlike anywhere else. Created in 1995 by multimedia artist André Heller to celebrate Swarovski’s 100th anniversary, this sparkling destination draws visitors into a realm of mesmerising Chambers of Wonder and an enchanting garden. It’s a bewitching blend of contemporary art, crystal, and nature.
Meet the Giant: the guardian of wonder
At the heart of the Crystal Worlds stands the iconic Giant, a mythical figure from Heller’s imagination who journeyed the globe in search of wonder and beauty, ultimately choosing Wattens as his resting place. Today, he watches over the treasures within. Enter through the Giant’s head and explore the Chambers of Wonder – each one a world unto itself, brought to life by acclaimed artists from across the globe. Don’t miss the breathtaking Crystal Dome or the newest addition, “Crystallizing Identity” by Chiharu Shiota, which opened in May 2025.
The Garden of the Giant
After exploring the chambers, step into the sprawling Garden of the Giant. Here, more than 800,000 Swarovski crystals form the Crystal Cloud, suspended above a reflecting pool. While adults marvel at the artistic installations, younger guests can climb the four-storey play tower or navigate the garden labyrinth.
A sparkling finale
No visit is complete without a stop at the Swarovski Crystal Worlds store. Here, you can peruse the Austrian’s brand wide-ranging collection – from luminous jewellery to one-of-a-kind collector’s pieces.
